AND THEN TWO TIMES A YEAR, BIANCA AND I WILL DO THAT AND SO ON AND SO FORTH.

SO THAT'S THE EXPECTATION THROUGHOUT THE YEARS TO HAVE THAT.

SO WITH THAT BEING SAID, WE'LL HAVE A NEW TRACKER THAT WE'LL SEND OUT TO EVERYONE AND ALY WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS AS WE MOVE FORWARD.

AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO INCREASING THAT NUMBER EVEN FROM 40 TO 50% EVENTUALLY.

I'M GLAD TO SEE YOU GUYS WENT UP ON THIS ONE BECAUSE THIS IS A BIG DEAL TO ME.

AND MY WISHFUL THINKING IS THAT INCREASES AND KEEPS INCREASING BECAUSE WE'VE HAD IT AS MUCH AS 60 TO 70% BEFORE.

AND IT REALLY HELPS US TO KEEP OUR FOCUS ON WHERE IT SHOULD BE, AND THAT IS STUDENT OUTCOMES.

I'M NOT SOMEBODY THAT WANTS TO JUST GIVE THEM A SELF CREDIT BECAUSE SOMEBODY SAID STUDENT IN A BUSINESS PRESENTATION AND WE GOT INTO THE DEPTHS OF THE BUDGET.

THAT DOESN'T COUNT TO ME BECAUSE THAT'S NOT STUDENT FOCUSED.

WE WANT TO BE FOCUSED ON OUR STUDENT OUTCOMES AND OUR VISIONS AND OUR GOALS FOR THE DISTRICT.

THEY MET EIGHT TIMES OVER THAT SCHOOL YEAR, AND THEY REVIEWED TEAS TEXAS LONG RANGE PLAN, WHICH THEN TO TRY TO OUTLINE THE GOALS THAT WERE NEEDED FOR MISD FOR OUR PLAN.

THEY HAD SUBGROUPS THAT LOOKED AT THINGS LIKE TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENTS, REPORTS, DATA, SOME VARIOUS THINGS LIKE THAT.

BUT THEY REVIEWED THIS PLAN AND AFTER AFTER THAT ONE YEAR TIME, THEY THE DRAFT PLAN WAS COMPLETED.

LET'S MOVE INTO LAST YEAR, 22-23.

THERE WAS A BIGGER COMMITTEE THAT WAS FORMED, ABOUT 60 MEMBERS THAT MET FOUR TIMES OVER THE SCHOOL YEAR.

AND THE ROLE OF THAT WAS TO SERVE IN AN ADVISORY ROLE TO THE DISTRICT TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK REGARDING TECHNOLOGY NEEDS, PRIORITIZATION AND SOME STRATEGIC SOME STRATEGIC GOALS.

THAT SAME YEAR ALTHOUGH THE WORK BEGAN IN 2019 WHEN I WAS THE DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT IN 2021, WE REALLY HAD THAT FIRST ITERATION OF OUR SEL CURRICULUM TO REALLY FOCUS ON THOSE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF OUR STUDENTS, TO REALLY TAKE CARE OF THAT, THAT PART FOR THEM.

AND THEN ALSO IN THE SPRING OF 2020, WE HIRED OUR FIRST DIRECTOR OF SAFETY AND SECURITY AND THREAT MANAGEMENT AND THAT WAS BRUNO DIAZ.

RIGHT. AND HE WAS SO EXCEPTIONAL THAT HE'S GONE ON TO THE NATIONAL LEVEL.

AND WE HAVE CONTINUED TO JUST FIND REALLY QUALITY PEOPLE.

RIGHT NOW WE HAVE BRETT FORTNER, AND SHE IS GOING TO BE INCREDIBLE TO CARRY THAT ON IN THE FALL OF 2021 GAGGLE SOFTWARE.

AND WE HAVE BEEN A LEADER AND HAVE PRESENTED AT THE AT THE STATE LEVEL ON OUR PROCESS BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON HERE IN MANSFIELD ISD.

SO THAT THREAT ASSESSMENT PROCESS HAS BEEN HAS BEEN SUPER SUCCESSFUL.
