SO AS A DISTRICT, WE HAVE MOVED FROM 10 DAYS TO FIVE DAYS FOR OUR STAFF. AGAIN, FIVE DAYS AS LONG AS THEY DON'T HAVE FEVER AND THEY'RE ASYMPTOMATIC. I AM DISAPPOINTED TO LEARN THAT WHILE COVID CONTINUES TO RAVAGE OUR COMMUNITY WITH DEATHS AND LIFELONG HEALTH COMPLICATIONS, OUR DISTRICT ROLLED BACK COVID 19 MITIGATION MEASURES. [01:25:04] TARRANT COUNTY REACHED A RECORD HIGH 39 PERCENT POSITIVITY RATE THIS MONTH. INSTEAD OF KEEPING OR IMPROVING IMPROVING COVID 19 MITIGATION MEASURES, WE TOOK THEM AWAY KNOWING THAT THE NEW VARIANT WAS MORE TRANSMISSIBLE. WE REMOVED PLASTIC BARRIERS IN OUR CAFETERIAS. WE REMOVE SANITATION, SANITIZER STATIONS AND HALLWAYS, AND WE REMOVE SIGNAGE ENCOURAGING THE USE OF MASKS. TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATION IN OUR SCHOOLS ARE GETTING SICK AND ARE STRESSED, COVERING MORE THAN ONE CLASS.
