A festive evening that will be fun for the entire family! Our second annual Toys for Tots Drive will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts from 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The objective of the Mansfield ISD and Toys for Tots partnership is to help less fortunate children within the DFW area and MISD community experience the joy of the season and to play an active role in the lives of children and families. Last December, at the inaugural Mansfield ISD Toys for Tots Drive, the community pulled together and we collected more than 16,000 toys and over $15,000 in monetary donations! It was one of the largest donations the organization had ever received from a single collection event in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Everyone involved worked incredibly hard to make the toy drive a huge success. This year the Mansfield Independent School District is planning another festive evening that will be fun for the entire family. We are collaborating again with our schools, location businesses and city departments to have family activities, all kinds of entertainment and delicious food. Please make plans to join us and bring a new unwrapped toy and make a child’s wish come true.
