1. Adjourn to closed session pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, to consult with the District’s attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including to provide legal advice regarding agenda items and a Level III hearing on a student matter.
2. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee.
3. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.082, to deliberate in a case involving discipline of a public school child, including discussion on Level III hearing on a student matter.
4. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.0821, to deliberate a matter regarding a public school student if personally identifiable information about the student will necessarily be revealed by the deliberation, including discussion on a Level III hearing regarding a student matter.
5. Conduct Level III hearing and deliberate on student matter.

1. Texas Government Code Sec. 551.071 – Consultation with District’s attorney to seek advice about (1)(a)  pending or contemplated litigation; (1)(b) a settlement offer; or (2) a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflict with Chapter 551.

6. Public Comments
1. The correct procedure for addressing the Board during Public Comments is as follows: Each speaker should address the Board from the podium microphone and state his or her name before speaking. All speakers will be limited to three minutes to make comments regarding items on the agenda. Copies of presentations should be made available to all trustees and the Superintendent.  Board policy prohibits the discussion of complaints against district employees during an open forum.
